What is Risk of Rain 2?

Risk of Rain 2 is a 3D action roguelike from Hopoo Games, published by Gearbox Publishing and 2K. You crash-land on Petrichor V, fight through handcrafted stages packed with monsters and bosses, and either escape or keep looping as both you and your enemies scale without a cap.

Each run shuffles stages, enemies, and more than 110 items. Artifacts let you toggle modifiers such as friendly fire, random survivor spawns, and item selection. Play solo or in online co-op with up to three friends, or race seeded Prismatic Trials. Released expansions include Survivors of the Void, Seekers of the Storm, and Alloyed Collective; Hallowed Concepts is announced and not yet dated.
