Risk of Rain 2 crossplay is four-player co-op. The next DLC is PC, PS5, and Xbox Series only. Switch, Xbox One, and PS4 will not get that expansion.
Risk of Rain 2 co-op is four players: you and up to three friends. The next expansion, Hallowed Concepts, is only confirmed for PC, Xbox Series S/X, and PlayStation 5. It will not ship on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4, because support for those platforms has been dropped. The notes do not print a full store-to-store chart, so this page does not claim every pair can squad up.
Every other pairing stays unverified. This page will not claim full crossplay or zero crossplay.
Future content versus today's sessions
The Hallowed Concepts platform line means Switch and last-gen buyers will not see that expansion. It does not prove Alloyed Collective was already pulled from those stores — the source does not list Alloyed Collective consoles. Reading "future DLC skips gen 8" as "every version cannot match today" goes past the file.
Official Discord is named as the feedback channel in a diary and is a common LFG spot. In-game cross-store toggles stay unverified.
Mods and trials are not a crossplay patch
Raw keywords include crossplay PC PS5 mod. The source has no "mod the consoles together" note. Prismatic Trials are official seeded races, not a crossplay patch. Do not publish mods as an official way to party with PS5.
